About

We transformed a six-bedroom apartment in a mixed-use tower in Lower Manhattan, embracing a minimalist design that balances functionality with openness.

The renovation focuses on creating a cohesive flow throughout the space, interconnecting areas that were previously isolated. This openness not only maximizes natural light but also provides a neutral backdrop for the owners' art collection, which includes collections of painting, sculpture and silver.

Working with interior designer Magdalena Keck, we selected a material palette that includes ebony stained floors, Arabescato Corchia marble, cementitious plaster, and American Elm, all of which complement the abundant natural light pouring in through the apartment's 28 windows—offering a reminder of the cityscape and the view of the Brooklyn Bridge just outside.
